BAMBI 2012 is looking forward to international superstars: Céline Dion
and One Direction will be rewarded with Germany’s most sought-after
media award. BAMBI 2012 will be broadcasted live from Düsseldorf on the
22nd November at 8.15pm on Das Erste.
Celin is a one of the most successful pop artists of our times and has set
standards in live entertainment worldwide: With more than 200 million
records sold, five Grammy awards, seven American Music Awards, two
Oscars for the best film song and a continuously sold-out live show in
Las Vegas, Céline Dion is one of the biggest music stars of all times.
Céline Dion will be rewarded with her third BAMBI on 22nd November.
The explanation of the jury: “Céline Dion is one of the most successful solo artists of our times and a great entertainer. She has moved and touched people with her music for the past 25 years. With her shows in Las Vegas, she has shown the world the fascination of live entertainment. For that Céline Dion will receive a BAMBI in the category Entertainment.”
