Celine Dion : Ken Ehrlich: a Long-time Collaborator

Director Ken Ehrlich, producer of the Grammys for over 30 years as well as countless television music specials, was honoured this past Wednesday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Having been an important collaborator over the years, Ken Ehrlich most recently directed Celine's latest show in Las Vegas.
Their first collaboration dates back to February 1993, when Celine sang "Beauty and the Beast" as a duet with Peabo Bryson at the Grammy Awards. Over the years, Ehrlich produced every CBS special starring Celine (These are Special Times in 1998, All the Way....A Decade of Songs in 1999, A New Day Has Come in 2002, Celine in Las Vegas...Opening Night Live in 2003, and That's Just the Woman in Me in 2008). Their collaboration continued when Celine was the first to accept Ehrlich's invitation to take part in the first VH1 Divas concert in 1998.
In an interview in 2003, Ken Ehrlich recalled that the Michael Jackson Tribute at the 2010 Grammys probably would not have happened without Celine's participation and that she brought him close to tears when she sang ''Dance With My Father'' the year her father passed away.
