For the show’s opening, Stylist and Costume Designer Annie Horth wanted to see Celine wear a dress with long sleeves. She envisioned a soft colour like pink champagne (Celine’s favourite!) for the first segment of the show, which is composed of a medley of big ballads.
Annie chose this magnificent Zuhair Murad Couture dress.
She explained “I chose this dress, embroidered entirely in sequins, because it gives us chills the moment Celine appears on stage wearing it. Frankly, I knew René would adore the dress: he loves all that shines!" "I also love the way it fits her shape, a little bit like a long form fitting sweater.
The gown is totally high glamour but kind of easy going at same time."
