J’ai eu la chance d’être né dans une famille où il y a beaucoup d’amour. Avec maman et avec toi, papa, j’ai appris ce qui compte le plus dans la vie: la famille.
15 ans, ça ne laisse pas beaucoup de temps à un fils pour apprendre à connaître son père. Tu avais une vie occupée, mais on s’est rapproché grâce au golf, au hockey, au poker... et au smoke-meat. Et grâce à bien d’autres bons aliments. À mesure que le temps passait, nous nous rapprochions de plus en plus.
Tu pars maintenant en m’ayant laissé suffisamment de beaux souvenirs de toi à partager avec mes jeunes frères. Alors qu’ils grandiront sans toi, je vais m’assurer de leur transmettre ce que j’ai appris de toi. C’est difficile de te succéder, mais avec ton aide, tout va bien aller.
Papa, je te promets, ici, que nous allons tous vivre selon tes standards.

Hello everybody. Thank you all for being there. Thank you also to those watching around the world and share our grief.
I was fortunate to be born in a family where there is a lot of love. With mom and with you, Dad, I have learned what matters most in life: the family.
15 years, it does not leave much time for a son to get to know his father. You had a busy life, but we got closer thanks to golf, hockey, poker ... and smoke-meat. And with many other good foods. As time went on, we got closer more and more.
Now you go on having enough left me beautiful memories of you to share with my younger brothers. As they grow up without you, I'll make sure to pass on what I learned from you. It's hard to succeed you, but with your help, everything will be fine.
